A privacy policy has to describe what this specific studio actually collects, why, where it is stored, how long it is kept and who it is shared with. None of that is decided yet — the website now has a CMS and a contact form, but the studio has not yet decided its legal wording or every operational detail. So writing a convincing-sounding policy here would be inventing legal commitments on the studio’s behalf.
One thing it will have to cover: the contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect the enquiry form from automated submissions and embeds a Google Map. Individual Project, Knowledge, or News pages may embed public YouTube or Facebook videos. Those pages are not cookie-free even though the rest of the site may be. Whether that needs a consent prompt depends on where the studio’s visitors are.
What this build does today
- No analytics and no tracking pixels.
- Fonts are self-hosted, so no request is made to a font provider.
- The contact form saves messages in the studio CMS for 10 days, then deletes them automatically.
- The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish people from automated submissions. Cloudflare receives the request information needed to provide that service.
- Only a first-visit flag is kept, in your browser's session storage.
- The contact page embeds a Google Map, and an entry with a linked YouTube or Facebook video embeds that provider's player. A linked direct video also contacts its file host. Opening any of these can let that provider receive your IP address and, for platform players, set cookies.
